Discipleship is an intentional choice we make to grow to maturity in faith in Christ.
"Take time and trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit." (I Timothy 4:7) One of the
wonderful examples and opportunities here is to become involved in one of several
Discipleship Studies and having a purpose driven life.
Two S.A.L.L.T., small Bible study groups. These exciting experiences
that assists participants to grow in their relationship with Jesus,
and other Christians. The Sharing and Living Life Together Bible
study is an exciting journey in faith. This is a great first step for
new or older experience Christians to take in renewal their faith.
Youth Ministry too is about growing as young people in Discipleship. For youth too it
is about fostering deep and significant connections with emerging generations. It is
about developing relationships between the Lord and other young people. It is
helping young people to cope with tensions and conflicts effectively in the world in
which they will be living.
Sunday Morning Early Bird Bible Study begins at 8:15 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. It is a
great way to start the morning off with a cup of coffee, some Christian fellowship and
gain some insights into three texts from the Bible prior to worship beginning. An
advance handout is available.
Our Intergenerational Sunday School furthers communication between the ages very
effectively, and understanding significant questions in daily life while based on the
Bible. Each week young people and adults are learning together from one another.
Each are given opportunities to take home material that will further communication
in home, and to grow in their relationship with the Lord. You too are welcome to this
wonderful opportunity. This March we will begin an enjoyable Intergenerational
Sunday School study on the New Testament. Bring a friend along an enjoy it all!
The Seekers Study is for those of us, churched or unchurched who are asking those
significant questions of life like "why am I here?," or "what is the purpose of life?"
This study is on Thursday evenings, and are short video curriculum courses open to
anyone interested in learning more about Jesus.
The Women of Peace Circle are actively engaged in Discipleship too, while providing a
host of service projects within the community of faith, the surrounding area and
throughout the world.
Welcome! Let us together make that choice to grow in our faith intentionally.
