We are honored that you are visiting our web site, and
we invite you to worship with us too next Sunday, called
Red, White, Blue Sunday, June 28th. It is a great
morning for Christians, and Americans of all-faith
to celebrate their freedom to worship in this great land.
Peace is made up of people like you, from the Crawford,
Morrow and Richland County area. We dress comfortably
throughout the year for worship. Some of our people wear
jeans and T-Shirts, others suits and ties during worship. We are pretty informal as is
Pastor Ron! The people of Peace welcome you in their search together for a more
meaningful way to come closer to our Lord, each other, and to grow in faith as
disciples of Jesus.
Life itself is about relationships! Our Lord
meets us where we are; our weaknesses, our
difficulties and our strengths, as we journey
together. He gives us a purpose driven life.
Most of our people realize that self-help
methods fall short- and like you, so many people
here are tired of focusing on ourselves all the time, anyway. If that describes you too,
well possibly this is the place for you to re-discover Life. Here is where you can find out
the core of who you really are. Why do we exist? What is it that we hope to accomplish.
What are essential beliefs. Where are we to serve?
We enjoy a wide variety of music styles, solos instrumentalists, scripture readings, and
prayers all aimed at glorifying our great God and Father. We proclaim the crucified and
resurrected Lord Jesus Christ. As Christians we awake each day to the celebration of
Christ's Resurrection! This is what we celebrate each Sunday! Without this momentous
happening we would have no reason to rejoice. But we are in fact an Easter people. We
invite you to look at the opportunities to enrich your life spiritually throughout the
year. Certainly we invite you along with family and friends to experience this Christian
community of faith. If you have doubts, questions, hungering, cynical heart, or would
just like to know more about Jesus Christ, you are welcome among us. You are more
than welcome. You will experience Christ's love!
We teach the Bible un-apologetically. We seek to teach it well and proclaim it well not
as "ought nots," but rather "how to live life" as a Christian. He invites us to, "come
and see!" Come and see as we celebrate the new life given to us through Jesus Christ!
The study Christ and Religious Pluralism is a great example of our Bible studies, as we
look at Acts 17:16-34 Sunday, July 5th. This discussion begins on Sunday at 10:15 in
Fellowship Hall.
The best way to know each other better is to come and worship - what else is the Church
of Jesus Christ here for today? We are not your typical Lutheran church. Any
Sunday is a blessing, a gift of grace that we celebrate!
People who visit Peace describe our worship services as
"creative, passionate, surprising, expressive, relevant,
warm, and engaging." This is where something good
is always about to happen! There is nothing better than
a face- to- face meeting with God's people, and the One
who loves you.
Our Christian maturity is demonstrated more
by behavior than by talk alone! Worship and
social responsibility go together for people of
faith. It is that faith that gives us in the long
term hope.
Whether you are a Seeker like so many of us, or
a faithful and committed follower, as a Disciple of
Jesus we invite you to go further on this site to find
out more. Better yet, walk in the doors for worship! You will find an extraordinary
welcome awaiting you as together we celebrate our Father's gift of grace given to us
through His Son Jesus Christ.
If you have worshiped together with us and are ready to B.E.L.O.N.G. We can assist you
in taking the next step.
God's blessings in our journey together.
Pastor Ron
